Leaves

Hold a leaf up to light and we see it’s transparent. “Space” is transparent as well.

Both leaves and space are of a higher frequency than other aspects of matter; they are softer. If we look at the spectrum on Earth of complete shadow to full light, these things exist on the light side, revealing less distortions, decay, and density.

The shadow is moving towards the right which means things are becoming lighter. Spanning the evolution of Earth, leaves never became as dense as other objects, and are an example, both of where matter used to be, and where it is headed.

Conifer leaves differ from deciduous in that they’re needles or scales and don’t fall seasonally. Needles are not transparent, which is part of their design: filtering and cleaning shadow frequencies.

Deciduous leaves need light to grow yet their trunk and branches do not; they grow from nutrients in the earth through their roots. The transparency of the leaves is from the sunlight, whereas the color of the trunk and branches are attributes of the earth.

Round trees parallel the spherical sunlight received as the earth rotates, maximizing growth. The design of the space between branches and leaves does the same. Different functioning accounts for loosely packed deciduous leaves, and densely packed conifer needles.

The foundation of a tree is balance. If there weren’t leaves, trees would exist in a perfect state of balance between the branches above and roots below. Leaves exist so there is an experience of growth: from first bud to full leaf,  falling to the floor to decompose, leaving new nutrients in the soil, and feeding the roots, leading to a larger tree and more leaves in an upward spiral of growth.
